Christchurch citizens may still be reduced to using portaloos, but Bob's taken his fears on tour.

Joe W: The great crested porcupine must supplement its largely vegetarian diet by gnawing on bones and horns with its powerful incisors in order to obtain the necessary mineral salts to maintain its formidable quills. Fossil remains of early hominids often bear the distinctive marks of porcupine teeth.
